The eastern U.S. is taking a polar plunge this week. Today's wind chill dipped as low as negative 50 degrees across several Midwest cities. The airline says it needs time to catch up on crew rest and maintenance. Service resumes tomorrow.

And there is a new star in the nation's capital, meet 4-month-old Bao Bao. The giant panda is in the newest addition to the National Zoo in Washington.
