2. After a night of vicious street battles, anti-government protesters and police clashed again Monday in Ukraine’s capital. The violence in Kiev has seriously escalated Ukraine’s political crisis which has been marked by 2 months of largely peaceful protests. 

 

3. Hundreds of people filled an Atlanta church where Martin Luther King JR preached to remember and reflect to his legacy. It was one of many events across the country marking the birthday of the civil rights leader. 

 

4. And President Obama honoured Doctor King’s legacy of service by helping a soup kitchen prepare its daily meals. Obama took his wife Michelle and daughters, Malia and Sasha to DC central kitchen, which is only a few minutes the way from the White House.
