If you look at the Milky Way galaxy, it’s this interesting balancepoint that this place where it’s just enough to wash from the black whole tokeep things interesting to possibly make the environment that allows us toexist here.

Astronomers are eagerly awaiting a spectacular firework display as asuper massive black hole, the center of our galaxy…
For the coming months, across the world, astronomers will be turningtheir telescopes towards the center of the Milky Way, ready to be awed by thehistoric chance to witness a black hole sitting down to feet.  … for us to climb with this interstellar distantgasp.
It’s the combination of a 40 year journey to get closer to thetantalizing age between the universe we can see and understand. And that placeof extreme that will forever be unseen and unknowable.
We tend to think of black holes as these incredibly destructivechaotic objects but now we understand that they are actually integral parts ofwhy galaxies are the way they are.
20 years ago black holes are seen as possible ornaments in the middleof a galaxy. Now we know that they may be the absolute shin and the drivingforce for the eventual size and possibly the shape of the galaxy.
The story of black holes that began as just an idea. It sprang outof pure human thought and mathematics. And it first seemed to be too outrageousto be possible. And over time we’ve learnt that not only these things out therethey play as vital, important role, we are still learning about, we are stilldiscovering everyday about super massive black holes and what they do in theuniverse. Who knows what we will ultimately find out about the ultimate.
