2. The search for survivors of a deadly Washington State mudslide grew Monday with 108 people reported missing. 8 people had been confirmed dead after a square-mile slide took up part of a former fishing village near Seattle on Saturday.
 
3. Egypt sentenced 529 people to death for their roles in their attack on a Police Station and left one officer dead. The defendants were said to be supporters of the ousted President Mohammed Morsi. While the verdicts are the largest mass death sentence the world has seen in recent years. Human Rights lawyers say they are subject to appeal and will likely be overturned. 
 
4. And wildlife officials in Nepal are taking into the skies to combat illegal poaching. Teams are using camera enabled drones to get a bird’s eye view of areas beyond the reach of traditional foot patrols.
