But object to covering some birth control methods that work after contraception. The companies say the law violates their religious belief. 
 
3. In Tokyo, the cherry blossom festival was underway. People lined downtown parks to enjoy the trees. And many snapped pictures of the pink blossom on their phones. 
 
4. And in Washington, five days into spring, the Tidal Basin cherry trees are covered in snow as a late season storm moves up the coast. Peak cherry blossom viewing time is still ten days away. By then the snow is expected to be long gone.
