Items from a wide of celebri.......The finding suggests that people's desire for a celebrity's membria stems from the belief what's called Contagion, the idea that a person's essence can be transfered through the object they touched.A follow up experiment further supports the Contagion idea. Participants said  they  would pay substantially less for a celebrity's sterylizing sweater if it had been sterylized. But sterylization actually increased the amount of subjects who would pay for the sweaters owned by a dislike -celebrity. Gives a whole new meaning to money laundering.
