 1. Authorities in Washington State expect the number of dead from a mudslide to go up substantially in the next couple of days. 16 bodies have been recovered so far. At least 9 more have been spotted. 90 people are missing.

 
2. A law firm, hired by Christ Christie, concludes the New Jersey Governor did not know ahead of time about a plot to create a gridlock near the George Washington Bridge. The report was paid for by taxpayers. Federal and state officials are still investigating. 
 
3. The international Monetary Fund has promised 18-billion loans to Ukraine. The United States House and Senate have each passed measures to provide help and impose sanctions against Russia. 
 
4. And France’s so-called Spider-Man scaled another tower, this time the 500-foot Araine. Onlookers and police were watching.  Alain Robert says, even at 52, he is still fit enough to climb buildings.
