1. Top diplomats from the United States, European Union, Russia and Ukraine have reached an agreement on an immediate step to ease the crisis in the Ukraine. The deal comes one day after deadly crashes at a military base near the Black Sea. 

 

2. Poor weather conditions have hampered the frantic search for a passengers still missing from a ferry disaster in South Korea. Meantime the coast guard is investigating if the ferry’s captain was among the first ones off the sinking the ship.

 

3. Malaysia’s Defense Minister says images retrieved from the underwater vehicle searching for the MH370 were “very clear” but had so far returned no evidence of the missing flight.
