不称职的导盲犬

　　A blind man is walking down the street with his seeing-eye dog one day.

　　一天，一只导盲犬领着一个盲人在街上走。

　　They come to a busy intersection, and the dog, ignoring the high volume of traffic zooming by on the street, leads the blind man right out into the thick of traffic.

　　他们来到一个车水马龙的十字路口。那只狗不顾路上飞驰而过的车流，将盲人直接带进车辆最密集处。

　　This is followed by the screech of tires and horns blaring as panicked drivers try desperately not to run the pair down.

　　慌乱的司机们拼命地躲开他们，尖锐的刹车声和刺耳的喇叭声此起彼伏。

　　The blind man and the dog finally reach the safety of the sidewalk on the other side of the street, and the blind man pulls a cookie out of his coat pocket, which he offers to the dog.

　　导盲犬终于将盲人领到马路对面的人行道上。盲人从口袋里拿出一块饼干，递给导盲犬。

　　A passerby, having observed the near fatal incident, can't control his amazement and commented to the blind man, "What! Your dog nearly got you killed! Why on earth are you rewarding him with a cookie?"

　　一个刚好目睹了这极其危险的一幕的路人，实在奈不住自己的惊奇，对盲人说：“你在做什么！你的狗刚刚差点儿害死你！你怎么还能奖给它饼干吃？”

　　The blind man turns partially in his direction and replies, "To find out where his head is, so I can kick his bottom."

　　盲人转向他的方向答道：“得找到它的头在哪里，我才好踢它的屁股。”
