手机快没电了可以这么说: My (cell) phone is dying. 或者：My cellphone's battery gets/is low.

shot gun seat: the seat next to the driver's副驾驶座位，跟The passenger seat一个意思
这种说法起源于美国西部历史，那时驾马车的人坐在右边，路上会经常有劫匪，所以，总要有一个人坐在左边副驾驶位置手里拿一杆枪，以防万一。从那以后，车的副驾驶位子是就叫做shotgun 了。

跟shotgun有关的还有一个词组，shotgun wedding，it refers to a wedding that is arranged to avoid embarrassment due to an unplanned pregnancy不得不举行的婚礼，或者，奉子成婚。
