A very pregnant Rachel Weisz took home the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress. She thanked John le Carre for writing The Constant Gardener.
Rachel Weisz: He really paid tribute to, to the people who are willing to risk their own lives to fight injustice.

The Penguins took the documentary prize. Robert Altman was honored and a rap song won the Oscar for Best Song.

Jon Stewart: By the way, for those of you who are keeping score at home, I just wanna make something very clear,Martin Scorsese:zero Oscars. Three Six Mafia: one.

One Oscar too for Best Actor Philip Seymour Hoffman.
Philip Seymour Hoffman: Be proud,Mom.I am proud of you, and we are here tonight. It's so good. Thank you.

Reese Witherspoon was proud to take home the Oscar for Best Actress.
Reese Witherspoon: I don't know what this means ,you know,I am just trying to matter and live a good life.

As expected, Ang Lee was awarded with an Oscar for Best Director for Brokeback Mountain.
Ang Lee: "Wow, I wish I know how to quit you .Hah..."

In an ending worthy of Hollywood, the Oscar for Best Picture went to Crash.
