Hi, folks. thanks for logging on to CNN. com. I'm Reynolds Wolf for the look at your forecast for today and for Sunday as well. For today, it looks like it's gonna be just splendid, a splendid day for you up in parts of northeast, from Boston to New York. Even into Washington you expect a mix of sunshine & clouds, nice breeze out of the north.
However, once you get back into the Great Lakes then you cross into the northern plains, there will be the potential for strong storms primarily in the Dakotas and into Western Minnesota and into northern Nebraska. Also the rain will continue through parts of Phoenix and into, I'd say , Albuquerque up right along I-25 and into Denver. Still very warm for the Dallas, Fort Worth area, you may have a slight shower in the afternoon to help cool things off, but still those temperatures are gonna be very warm with highs rising right near the century mark, getting to 100 degrees in the Dallas, Fort Worth Metroplex.
Northward into Kansas City expects a high of 90, 79 degrees in Minneapolis, 84 for the Atlanta with a chance of showers, but pure bliss in Boston 75 degrees, over in Toronto looks like 72 degrees, 93 in Miami, 95 in Houston, 102 for Las Vegas and 106 in Phoenix.
Now as we venture into Sunday, conditions will still be pretty nice in northeast, still that mixture of sunshine & clouds. But that chance of severe weather is gonna push a little bit more to the east, moving through parts of Minnesota. Hopes that the Twin cities could get hammered with some strong storms and certainly beyond the look-at for severe weather and in the northern half , the Corn Belt back into Nebraska also you will have a chance of strong storms.
Scattered showers across the central Rockies, Dallas, Fort Worth, back over to the Big Easy of New Orleans, you may have some rain to do with into the afternoon. Also some fog on the coast from San Luis Obispo southward to Morro bay and into places like Atascadero. You're gonna have again the mixture of sunshine & clouds with the fog, giving way to the sun into the afternoon. With high temperatures along the coast in California . Then a rise into the 70, 75 degrees for Los Angeles, 102 in Phoenix, 91 in Salt Lake City, 81 in Chicago, 79 for New York.
