诱人的巧克力圣诞树(在线收听

There's certainly no sweeter way to kick off the festive season ahead of Christmas. Here in Bangkok, Thailand, staff at the Amari Atrium Hotel are getting their fingers sticky, putting together a 6 meter high Christmas tree, made entirely of chocolates.

Made from some 35,000 M&M's mounted onto a 50 kilogram solid chocolate base, the tree is the work of 6 pastry chefs who took almost two weeks to complete the structure.

Er, we had problems in the beginning because when we were working too much with M&M's, it started changing colors. So that also we had to find the solution and basically we overcame to.

The completed tree boasts 270 chocolate panels and is on display in the hotel's air-conditioned lobby to ensure the creation doesn't melt. Though more than 90 percent of Thais are Buddhist, Christmas-style decorations can be seen throughout Bangkok, but undoubtedly, few are as delectable as this one.
