It's had a massive makerover in the last few years and as a result, poker, in particular online poker is booming. Gone are the days of pokers being a male dominated and seedy environment as now more than a 3rd of the tens of millions of online players are women.

It is part of something bigger than that. I think it's part of the fact that gambling is being liberlized in a big way.
I think all our predictions are about these. It's gonna grow up and women again to be a larger propotion of problem gamblers than they had been in the past.
So putting money into this compelling game can be high risk, however, it seems the roller coaster to ride is what women want .
