Hundreds of survivors took to the streets in India Wednesday and marked the 30th anniversary of the Bhopal gas leak tragedy. Protesters demanded harsher punishments for those responsible and more compensation for the victims of the world's worse industrial disaster.

 

Japan launches a roceket Wednesday set for a 6-year journey to blow a crater in a remote asteroid. The goal of the space explorer, named Hayabasu-2, is to bring back rock samples in hopes of gathering clues to the origin of the earth.

 

Honduras sets a new Guinness World Record for the largest human Christmas tree. Nearly 3,000 people gathered outside the national palace to break it. The previous record was set by Argentina in 2013 with 1,900 people.
