The former Serb leader apparently died of natural causes in his prison cell in the Netherlands where he was on trial for war crimes. Former president Clinton says he is sorry Milosevic did not acknowledge and apologize for his crimes before his death.

2. Vigils are being held to honor slain Tom Fox, the American aid worker who was kidnapped and killed in Iraq. The Virginia native’s body was found Thursday in west Baghdad. He had been shot in the head and chest.

3. Spain is marking the second anniversary of the Madrid terror bombings with flowers, tears and silence. 2 Children placed a wreath at a column erected to honor the 191 people killed.

4. The Navy may have found a boat that's leaner and meaner than anything it already has for special operations. The 80-foot Stiletto can reach 40 miles per hour, making it one of the fastest boats in the Navy’s fleet. If all goes well in sea trials off Santiago, SEAL teams will get a chance to try the vessel in May.
