President Obama welcomed Afghanistan’snew president Ashraf Ghani to the oval office for their first White Housemeeting on Tuesday. Earlier Ghani laid a wreath at the Arlington National Cemeterywith vice president Biden. Obama and Ghani are expected to discuss the futurerelationship of their countries.

 

Activists marched in defiancedown the streets of Tunis showing solidarity a week after a deadly attack at amuseum. Supporters marched carrying flowers and banners amid news that theNational Bardo Museum’s reopening would be postpone.
