3. Dozens of giant water frogs are washing up in the banks of Lake Titicaca bordering Bolivia and Peru. Officials saw contaminants from nearby construction, hospitals and mining *, harming the critically endangered species. 
4. And hundreds marked the 29th anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster, mourning the loss of those killed in the world's deadliest nuclear accident. Ukraine's president Petro Poroshenko honored the victims by laying flowers and visiting the construction zone at the site of disaster.
