It had long been his ambition to return to the front line in Afghanistan when he did so from the seat of an Apachi helicopter with 662 squadron at the end of 2012, it seems it was to be his last tour of duty for queen and country.

This was my main effort to get back to Afghanistan, it took a little bit longer because of certain reasons, but i'm out here now, so that part means there is another ticket in the box.
Captain Harry Wales is a commanding officer in the army air core, said he'd reached the pinnacle of flying excellence in Afghanistan, now Harry is back and he leaves his suffered base in the UK to return to London.
It's in this building here at Horse guards parade, once the official entrance to all royal palaces like Buckingham palace and Clerence house where prince Harry will be stationed, his duties will include organising significant projects and commemorative events, but the reasons for moving to London go much further than his day job.
After opening the warrior games for injured service personnel in Colorado last year, prince Harry hatched a plan to bring the event to the UK with the help of the ministry of defence and his royal foundation, but some might ask why having spent vast amounts of tax payers' money on training the prince to such a high standard, Harry has decided to call it a day.
He has served his queen and country with distinction, he has been given great credit for doing so, he was very brave because he obviously was a target for the Taliban, if he'd been captured, it would be a huge cap, a feather in the cap, he has now come up a new visionary plan of what he can do which would help those service men, we should be praising him not being picky about how much it costs to train him.
Being back in London has other benefits too, he'll be closer to girlfriend K for one, he'll be able to take up the slack on royal duties from older members of the family, and while Kensington palace won't categorically rule out a return in future to the front line, it does seem a remote possibility at best.
