 February 22nd,1732George Washington, the first president of United States is born in what’s been the Virginia Colony. Washington commanded American forces during the Revolutionary War and led the Founding Fathers in drafting the US Constitution. 2006Insurgents destroy the golden dome of one of Iraq’s holiest Shiite shrines, the Askariya mosque in Samarra.
