Europe乐队1981年成立于瑞典.起初乐队名字叫"Force"(力量).由核心成员Joey Tempest(主唱)、John Norum(吉他) 和John Leven(贝斯)组成.在一次瑞典全国业余摇滚乐团大赛中获得冠军并得到一纸唱片合约.之后将乐队名 更改为Europe并在瑞典发行了两张专辑"Europe"和"Wings of Tomorrow".
