Let’s take a look at the satellite image. A high of southeast Australia is producing stable weather and bringing a cool morning. Light onshore winds are causing the odd shower on the east coast. And a cold front is generating some local gusty showers in southwestern Australia. Around the country, coastal showers for the southern and central Queensland. Mostly dry for the rest of the state. Warm in the north. Mostly sunny and dry across New South Wales with the odd coastal shower for the central and northern parts. A cold day forecast throughout Victoria with the gusty northwesterly showers along the coast. Dry further south.

Showers about the west and south of Tasmania, dry over north and east. For South Australia, mostly sunny and dry in the east. Northerly winds increasing in the west. Cold and gusty showers are forecast for the southwest of Western Australia with mostly dry and sunny conditions in the north. Showers for eastern parts of the territory. Warm and sunny in the west and south. And looking ahead to tomorrow’s forecast for the capitals. A possible shower for Brisbane and Canberra. A shower or two for Sydney and also Adelaide. Evening showers for Melbourne. Mostly sunny in Hobart and Perth. And for Darwin, a sunny day.
