 This is AP News Minute. 1. Tensions are running high after Turkey shot down a Russian warplane that it said ignored repeated warnings after crossing into its airspace from Syria. Russian president Vladimir Putin is now warning against “significant consequences”. 2. President Barack Obama met with French counterpart Francois Hollande in Washington today, promising the west will triumph in the global fight against ISIS. Following news of the downed plane, he called Russia an outlier in the fight, saying Turkey had a right to defend itself. 3. In Minnesota, protesters remain camped outside a Minneapolis police precinct where they’ve been conducting a sit-in since the fatal shooting of a black man by a police officer on Nov. 15th. Overnight, five protesters were shot nearby. Police have arrested two suspects. 4.
