AP Showbiz Minute. As U2 prepare to play the Paris show they were set to perform the day after the attacks in the city, Bono has called on fans worried about going to gigs to be vigilant but be unafraid, adding joy is an act of defiance. Bono who plays Paris December 6th and 7th with U2 also launched a charity campaign Tuesday. Star experiences can be won after donating 10 dollars or more to his RED organization, raising funds to fight AIDs. Donors can win a bike ride with Bono, a portrait painting by James Franco and a photo with Shaquille O'Neal for a holiday card. Spotlight won best feature at the Gotham Independent Film Awards in New York Monday. The movie was also given a special award for its ensemble cast which includes Michael Keaton, Mark Ruffalo, and Rachel McAdams. Paul Dano was named best actor for Love and Mercy while Bel Powley won best actress for The Diary of a Teenage Girl. Drake is the most streamed artist of the year. Spotify announced its end-of-year list Tuesday, saying Drake earned 1.8 billon streams globally in 2015. But the Weekend’s album Beautify behind the Madness beats Drake’s If You’re Reading This, It’s Too Late into second place for most streamed album. This is Nicki Finlay with AP Showbiz Minute.
