   China will set a plan to raise the statutory retirement age in 2017 to relieve pressures from an aging population, an official researcher said.

  近日,一名官方研究人员表示,我国将于2017年出台延迟法定退休年龄的方案,以减轻人口老龄化带来的压力"The plan is likely to be implemented in 2022 after a five-year transitional period," China News Service quoted Jin Weigang, a researcher with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, as saying Saturday.
  中国人力资源和社会保障部社会保障研究所所长金维刚周六对中国新闻社表示:“该方案出台后会有五年的过渡期,或到2022年正式实施。”

  The population of people aged between 16 to 60 fell by 4.87 million to 911 million in 2015, the fourth consecutive year of decline, official data showed.
