1. After decades of distrust, President Barack Obama and Cuban president Raul Castro shook hands Monday at the Havana's palace revolution. Obama's two and half days trip to Cuba is the first presidential visit to the country in nearly 90 years. 

2. Genesee county wants the state of Michigan to give it more than  $1 million as reimbursement for money the county spent in response to Flint water crisis. The county's board of commissioner argued that the water emergency was man-made, caused by failure at the state government level. 

3. The U.S military says it has placed a of contingent marines at a small outpost in northern Iraq to provide protection for the Iraqi military-base where U.S. advisers are present. The deployment was announced after a number of the unit were killed by rocket fire. 

4. And a new aircraft that special-revolutionizes the airline industry has been unveiled in United Kingdom. The Airlander 10, currently the world's largest aircraft, is able to stay airborne for 5 days, and can land on all terrain, including water, sand and ice.
