散文:I'm Nobody! Who are you?(在线收听

I Am Nobody!Who are you?
Are you nobody, too?
Then there’s a pair of us - don’t tell!
They’d banish us, you know.

How dreary to be somebody!
How public, like a frog
To tell your name the livelong day
To an admiring bog!

This poem is a typical Dickinson's defense of the kind of spiritual privacy she favored, indicating that to be a Nobody is a luxury incomprehensible to the dreary Somebodies - for they are too busy keeping their names in circulation, croaking like frogs in a swamp in the summertime (reminding all the other frogs of their identities).
