散文:How happy is the little Stone(在线收听

How happy is the little Stone
That rambles in the Road alone,
And doesn't care about Careers
And Exigencies never fears -
Whose Coat of elemental Brown
A passing Universe put on,
And independent as the Sun
Associates or glows alone,
Fulfilling absolute Decree
In casual simplicity -

In this poem, the little Stone, unlike human beings, is not hassled by the burden of careers and the search for wealth, nor fears it the exigencies of pressing problems. It behaves as independently as the Sun to associate or glare alone; and in casual simplicity, it follows the natural path ordained by its Creator who also put on a coat of brown. Happiness is not about what happens to us. It is about how we perceive what happens to us.
