This is AP news minute. 

1. Donald Trump's campaign manager Corey Lewandowski will not be prosecuted for misdemeanor battery after prosecutors determine there wasn't enough evidence to get conviction. Lewandowski was charged with the crime last month after a video-recording showed him grappling reporter Michelle Fields by the arm at the end of Trump campaign event. 

2. New York has ended the ban on professional mixed martial art with governor Andrew Cuomo signing a law to regulate the fight. New York was the last state to prohibit the bouts, but Cuomo  said during a signing ceremony at Madison Square garden, the fights will boost the economy.  

3. A strong earthquake with preliminary magnitude 7.4 knocked out homes and spread fire in southern Japan on Thursday evening. Police said people may be trapped underneath. There were no immediate report of casualties or risk of tsunami. 

4. And an escaped male chimpanzee was captured by city officials after falling off from an electricity pole in northern Japan on Thursday. The Chimp was on the loose for over an hour before climbing on the pole. Wild officials shot the simian with sedative.
