1. President Barack Obama is in Saudi Arabia ahead of the Gulf Cooperation Council summit on Thursday. Obama met with the king of Saudi Arabia after arriving amid strained tensions with the Saudi, over issues with Iran and Syria.  

2. The first criminal charges have been filed in Flint's lead-tainted water crisis. Two state regulators and a water plant supervisor have been charged with tampering with evidence and misleading federal county officials. Michigan attorney general said he expected more charges resulting from the investigation. 

3. A sinkhole in northwest Dallas opened up in a neighborhood, forcing emergency crews to block the already flooded area. Heavy rains have battered Texas this week, causing deadly flooding in the Houston area.  

4. NASA used 4k ultra-high definition technology to release vibrant video of the Aurora Borealis, created with time-lapsed shot from the international space station. The phenomenon occurs when electrically charged electrons and protons on the earth's magnetic field collide with neutral atoms in the upper atmosphere.
