1. New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady must serve a four-game 'Deflategate' suspension imposed by NFL, a federal appeals court ruled Monday. The case is likely to fuel a fresh round of debate over what rule, if any, Brady played using underinflated football at the AFC championship game in January,2015. 

2. Tempers are flaring as supporters and opponents of the controversial North Carolina law held competing rallies to sway legislators at their annual session. Republican-backed law blocks local and state protection for LGBT citizens, and directs which restrooms transgender people can use.

3. The city of Cleveland reached a $6 million settlement in a lawsuit over the death of Tamir Rice. Rice, a 12-year old black boy was shot by a white police officer while playing with a pellet gun outside a  recreation center in November, 2014. 

4. A late April snowstorm took Bosnia by surprise, especially as it follows a week of beautiful weather. Drivers across the country were warned to take it easier to have the snow fell as temperature dropped.
