This is AP news minute. 

1. Hundreds of electronic cigarette brands will now have to seek federal permission to stay on the market under new FDA rules released Thursday. The regulations also limit e-cigarette sales to minors and require a new health warning. 

2. A massive wild fire in the Canadian province of Alberta is growing inside and forcing even more communities to evacuate. The fire has already led to the evacuation of nearly 90,000 people and torched at least 1600 homes and buildings. 

3. The U.S coast guards say a Colombian mariner has been rescued after surviving a 2-month ordeal in the southeastern Pacific, but his three companions reportedly died. The 29-year old man said he survived by eating fish and seagulls. 

4. And the renowned Russian orchestra performed a special concert in the ancient Syria city of Palmyra, badly damaged by Islamic State extremists. The concert was held as a support the restoration of the UNESCO heritage site and honored the victims of Syria's war.
