Vicious tornadoes have left trees down and homes destroyed in Nebraska and Oklahoma. Powerful winds ripped through rural Oklahoma, leaving 2 dead in its path. While in Nebraska, softball-sized hail rained down, causing serious damage to homes.

The White House annouced Tuesday that President Barack Obama will pay a historic visit to Hiroshima later this month. Obama will become the first seating American president to visit the city where the US dropped an atomic bomb.

Italian police say 12 US soldiers stationed in the northern city of Vicenza were arrested after a fight outside a nightclub. Authorities say that one of the soldiers was slashed in the arm inside the club, provoking a fight with 3 Senegalese men outside.

And the UConn Lady Huskies were honored at the White House for their lastest NCAA title win. This is the women's team's 4th consecutive national championship and the 11th overall.
