美国HBO电视台近日证实，打破收视记录的魔幻电视剧《权力的游戏》将在第八季结束之后正式完结。

　　HBO programming chief Casey Bloys made the announcement at the Television Critics Association's conference.

　　HBO节目主管凯西·阿洛伊斯是在电视评论家协会会议上宣布的这一消息。

　　The seventh season - made up of seven episodes instead of the usual 10 - is expected in summer next year, while the final season will be in 2018.

　　《权力的游戏》第七季只有7集，而不是通常的10集，预计将于明年夏季播出，而第八季则要等到2018年。

　　HBO官方正式宣布《权利的游戏》将于第八季完结Now the programme has overtaken the source material, meaning producers are telling a story no-one has read before.

　　现在这部剧已经超越了原著小说的内容，这也就是说制片人正在讲述一个以前从来没有人读过的故事。

　　Speaking in Beverly Hills, California, Mr Bloys said the number of episodes for the final season was yet to be determined. "We'll take as many as the producers will give us," he said.

　　在加州贝弗利山庄发表讲话时，阿洛伊斯表示，他们目前还没有确定《权力的游戏》第八季究竟要拍多少集。他说道：“我们将尽可能多地拍摄制片人给我们的内容。”

　　Mr Bloys did not rule out a spin-off, saying that "we're open to it, (the producers) aren't opposed to it, but there's no concrete plans right now".

　　阿洛伊斯没有排除可能会拍衍生片的可能，他说道：“我们可以接受，制片人们也不反对，但是目前还没有具体的规划。”

　　Last year, Game of Thrones won a record 12 Emmy Awards for a series in a single year. The series has picked up 23 nominations - another record - ahead of this year's annual ceremony to be held in September.

　　去年，《权力的游戏》在一年的时间里，创纪录地获得了12项艾美奖。在今年9月的年度颁奖典礼举行前，《权力的游戏》已经获得了23项提名，这又是一项纪录。
