This is AP news minute. 

1.  In Rio, spectators waited in long lines to access Olympic events the first day of competition. There were also reports of official Olympic bus drivers getting lost on the way to venues . Organizers apologized Saturday, saying there were issues with procedures and systems in place. 

2. In Belgium, two police officers were wounded Saturday after a man attacked them outside a police station with the machete. The man was purportedly shouting "God is great" in Arabic. He approached the two at a security checkpoint. Belgium's prime minister says an investigation is pointing to terrorism. 

3. In France, 13 people were killed, 6 others injured when fire swept through a bar at a birthday party. It happened in Rouen in Normandy. Officials say the fire appears to be accidental. 

4. And president Barack Obama and the first family left for their 7th and final vacation on the Martha's vineyard as the first family. The Obama arrives Saturday to spend two weeks on the island.
