1. Colorado officials say a massive avalanche buried several cars on US Highway 40 about 60 miles west of Denver. At least 7 people have been rescued. Crews are searching for more survivors. Snow fell on the area on Friday, the third snowstorm in these many weeks for Denver.

2. Wacky/whacky weather across the Northwest and Mid-West has got people turning out in short sleeves. In Washington DC, people took advantage of the mild temperatures to get outside. But in Ohio, ice rinks are melting and ski resort owners are working overtime to make snow.

3. After 5 full days of searching, crews in Indonesia still cannot find any sign of a missing jetliner. The Adam Air Flight went missing on Monday. One hundred and two people are on board, including 3 Americans. Today the airforce sent up 6 helicopters to search the area that the plane was last seen on radar.

4. No longer are the Saints the ain't. New Orleans Sean Payton is the AP's NFL Coach of the Year. In his first year with the team, he led them to a 10-6 record and to the top of the NFC South.
