3. Thousands remembered legendary football coach Eddie Robinson of Grambling State University. The coach won more than 400 games and sent many players to the pros. His funeral drew politicians and former players, all swapping memories of the coaching giant.

4. In the Midwest, so much for spring. Residents face another bout with winter with snow canceling classes in Minnesota and stranding travellers elsewhere. Snow swirled and waves crashed along the lakeshore in Chicago. In Wisconsin, ten inches of snow could fall.
