This is AP news minute.

1. Volunteers with boats are part of the rescue effort in badly flooded parts of Louisiana. State officials say 20,000 people had been rescued and 10,000 are staying at shelters. 

2. Milwaukee's mayor says a 10 PM curfew on teenagers will be strictly in force from now on. This comes after 7 officials were injured during another night of unrest, following Saturday's deadly police involved shooting. Officials blamed outsiders for causing most of the unrest. 

3. The republican party launched its first ever election campaign in Israel on Monday, trying to convince skeptical American-Israeli dual citizens to cast their votes for Donald Trump. GOP activists campaign in Israeli city with high concentrations of Americans, handing out stickers and buttons with the slogan, "Trump - in Israel's interest", in Hebrew and English.  

4. And an ice cold treats are being given to the animals at the zoo in Rome, to help them cope with the summer heat. Zoo officials say the ice fruits not only helps to cool the animal's body down, but it's away to give them something to do, while they walk through the ice.
