This is AP news minute. 

1.  Authorities in Rio de janeiro told two U.S Olympic swimmers they can't leave Brazil. A lawyer says Jack Conger and Gunnar Bentz have to testify about an alleged robbery. The two were in a group that said they were robbed at gunpoint Sunday. 

2. The fast moving wildfire east of Los Angles has now raced across more than 40 square mile. San Bernardino county officials say dozens of structures have been burned but they don't have the exact numbers yet.  

3. A man charged with starting a fire that destroyed more than 200 homes in northern California was in court on Wednesday. Damin Pashilk  faces more than a dozen counts of arson, and one of attempted arson dating back to last year.  

4. And homeland security secretary Jeh Johnson is due in Louisiana on Thursday to review the federal government's response to the massive floods in that state. At least 13 people are known dead and 10,000 have been rescued.
