1. The United States is skeptical in an agreement with Russia to stop violence in Syria can work but will keep pursuing it. Obama said U.S and Russia still have "Grave difference" about what's needed to end the Syria's civil war, while speaking on the sideline of the Group 20 economic Summit in China.

2. Pope Francis declared Mother Teresa a Saint on Sunday, honoring the tiny nun who cared for world's most destitute and holding her up as the model for catholic church. An estimated 120,000 people filled the St.Peter square for the canonization mass.  

3. Storm system Hermine spun away from the U.S east coast, while removing the threat of heavy rain, but maintaining heavy power to keep beaches at risk for dangerous waves and currents. Residents in Virginia are spending Labor Day weekend cleaning up, after the rain left flooded street in its path. 

4. Atlanta zoo says a 19-year old giant panda has given birth to a set of twins. Zoo Atlanta said the giant panda named Lun Lun delivered the twins cub Saturday morning. It's Lunlun's second pair of twins.
