1. A 28-year old African immigrant is in custody in connection with the bombing that rocked the New York city and New Jersey over the weekend. The arrest came just hours after police issued the bulletin and photo of Ahmad Khan Rahami. He was taken into custody following a shootout with police.

2. Minnesota police officials said there is no evidence to suggest a shopping mall stabbing involved more than lone attacker. The man who stabbed nine people Saturday was shot and killed by an off-duty officer. Federal investigators say they are looking at the attack as a potential act of terrorism.

3. U.S health officials lowered the warning for pregnant women to stay out of Miami's Wynwood arts district. This comes after no new cases of mosquito-borne Zika illness has been reported since early August. Officials credit aggressive aerial spraying.

4. And a wedding ring lost over 37 years ago has been returned to its owner. After a scuba diving instructor found it in the water off Spain's Mediterranean coast last month. The owner saw the scuba diver Facebook post which has been shared more than 70,000 times.
