1. A gunman in Idaho killed two people including a police officer before police found the shooter dead himself. The gunman started shooting at a courthouse in Moscow, Idaho late Saturday. Two others were also wounded.

2. Seven U.S. soldiers and an interpreter have been killed by bombs in Iraq. Six of the soldiers died when a roadside bomb exploded in western Baghdad.

3. Gun battles between militants and security forces in Lebanon have left at least 39 people dead. The fighting began when troops raided a militant-occupied apartment building in Tripoli. The militant group has suspected links to al-Qaeda.

4. Filmmaker Michael Moore says he will fight a U.S. Treasury Department investigation into his trip to Cuba. Moore traveled to Cuba to film scenes for "Sicko", a movie about the U.S. health care system. The Treasury Department is looking into whether Moore's trip broke the U.S. embargo on the communist country.
