This is AP news minute.

1. President Barack Obama has delivered a sharp rebuke to Donald Trump, over Trump's unsupported claim the presidential election is being rigged against him. During a news conference with Italy's prime minister, Obama said Trump needs to "stop whining" and makes his case to the voters.

2. Melania Trump is weighing in on the recent allegations of sexual assault lodged against her husband, saying those allegations were planned and coordinated by her husband's opposition.

3. Iraqi special forces continue to deploy around Mosul's suburbs, ahead of a push to take Iraq's second largest city from the Islamic State group. Mosul is home to more than a million people and humanitarian groups are warning the fightings could force many of them to flee.

4. Protesters have put up rows and rows of underwear outside UKraine's parliament building to shame Ukraine's top officials into disclosing their financial assets and income as required by law. Activists say only a handful of members of parliament out of 450 have fulfilled those requirements.
