This is AP news minute. 

1. A ceasefire to evacuate rebels and civilians from Aleppo unrivaled on Wednesday. Syrian activists said that fighter jets have resumed bombing in the eastern part of the city. Syrian president Bashar al-Assad scoffed the idea of ceasefire, saying it was designed to stop his government's advance in the city. 

2. The federal reserve raised the key interest rate in response to a straining U.S ecnomony, with three more rate hikes expected in 2017. Fed Chairman Janet Yellen made the accouncement in Washington. The move will mean modestly higher rates on some loans. 

3. President-elect Donald Trump met with a group of tech experts at Trump Tower in New York, telling him he is "here to help you focus do well". Many in Silicon Valley have expressed concerns that Trump's policy could stifle innovation and compromise digital privacy. 

4. Soccer fans in Istanbul gathered at a stadium where a suicide bombing killed 44 people on Saturday for the first match since the attack. A Turkey-based Kurdish militant group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
