1.  Syrian state-run TV is showing pictures from areas of Aleppo previously held by rebels. Syrian troops were recorded walking pass numerous destroyed buildings. The Syrian government took full control of Aleppo on Thursday. In the last, civilians and fighters were busted out of conflict zone. 

2. President-elect Donald Trump used twitter to call for U.S to greatly strengthen and expand its nuclear capability. The tweet came hours after Russian president Vladimir Putin offered strengthening his country's nuclear capability.

3. Michigan's sheriff  deputy rescued a family of three from a fire in their home, while his body camera recorded what happened. A video shows he approached the home and helped the family get out, before firefighters could get there. 

4. And more than 600 people turned out in Green Bay, Wisconsin to help shovel snow out of Lambeau Field, home of the NFL Green Bay Packers. Fans were paid $10 an hour to get the stadium ready for Saturday's game against Minnesota Vikings.
