　　A:Your new house is very comfortable,Mike.

　　A：迈克，你的新房子很舒适啊。

　　B:Thanks. It is in a pretty good condition though it was built in 1973. But I am ashamed of the outside:the woodwork must be painted soon.

　　B：谢谢。虽然是1973年建的，但屋子状况仍然非常好。就是外观差了一点，木器应该漆一下。

　　A:What a splendid floor this is!

　　A：这个地板很漂亮啊！

　　B:It's called parquet. It's made of oak blocks. But it needs to be polished every week.

　　B：这是银木地板，是大块栎木做的。但每个星期都要擦油。

　　A:Mike, may I help you with your housework?

　　A：迈克，我可以帮你做家务吗？

　　B:Oh, yes, if you don't mind. The mop is in the cupboard under the stairs...

　　B：噢，你要是愿意的话，谢了。拖把放在楼下壁橱里

　　A:How is your new house going?

　　A：你们的新家怎么样啦？

　　B:Oh,we're still in a bit of mess but Kate seems to like it here.

　　B：噢，还有点乱糟糟的，不过凯特好像喜欢这儿。

　　A:That's good. Is there a garden for her to play in?

　　A：那就好。有她玩的花园吗？

　　B:Yes, we've got a small garden which is a bit untidy at the moment. But it's all fight.

　　B：有。我们有一个小花园，眼下有点乱。不过没关系。

　　A:Have you found a school for Kevin?

　　A：你给凯文找到学校了吗？

　　B:Yes, therefs one just round the corner. They say it's one of the best schools in the area.

　　B：找到了。拐角那儿就有一所。他们说那是这个地区最好的学校之一。

　　A:That's good. So you like it there, do you?

　　A：好啊。这么说你喜欢那儿啰。

　　B:Yes,I like it very much.

　　B：是的，我非常喜欢。
