This is AP news minute. 

1. Arkansas has carried out its first execution in nearly a dozen years. Ledell Lee  killed a woman back in 1993. He was one of the eight inmates the state originally planned to execute before a lethal injection drug expires at the end of the month. 

2. French police have raid a home in east of Paris as they investigated Thursday's shooting on the iconic Champs Elysees boulevard . They shot the gunman to death after he killed an officer and wounded three other police. 

3. Three police officers were injured while trading gunfire with the robbery suspects in downtown Seattle Thursday. One suspect was killed, two others were captured.  

4. And a former Tennessee teacher accused of kidnapping a 15-year old student has been charged with taking a minor across state lines to have sex. The girl was found safe with former teacher Tad Cummins in California Thursday.
