Former acting Attorney General Sally Yates says she'd warned the White House that Russia had blackmailed former national security advisor Michael Flynn. Yates testified Monday to a Senate panel. President Trump followed with a tweet, calling Russia-Trump collusion story a hoax.

South Korea is electing a new president. Several candidates are vying to replace the country's last one, who was forced from office during a corruption scandal.

A 23-year-old man is under arrest in Phoenix, accused of being the serial killer who'd gunned down nine people. Aaron Juan Saucedo faces 26 felony counts, including homicide and aggravated assault.

And Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke is on a four-day tour of the Bears Ears National Monument in Utah. He is deciding if a lot of declared national monument in preserved land is being properly used.
