1. Iran says it has killed the allegedly mastermind of the twin attacks last week claimed by the Islamic State group. The country's intelligence minister says the suspect left Iran a neighboring country following the attacks, but was "sent to hell" by Iranian intelligence agents.

2. Thousands of people took to the streets of the Moroccan capital Sunday to protest against corruption and abuse of power. The demonstration was one of the largest of its kind in the last several years.

3. Officials in South Africa say five people were killed as a result of fire that ravaged large parts of the country. Thousands of residents were displaced in the fires and 400 homes were affected.

4. Supporters of LGBT rights mobilized for marches and rallies Sunday in Washington and across the country. Thousands paraded towards the capital for the equality march in Washington.
