McVeigh Case Delayed?

　In the United States, Timothy McVeigh will seek a delay in his execution for the bombing of a government building in Oklahoma.

　Defense layers made the request Thursday after a two-hour meeting with McVeigh. The defense layers say the Federal Bureau of Investigation has been untruthful with the court that found McVeigh guilty. They say the FBI has not given them all documents related to the case. Recently the FBI admitted that hundreds of documents linked to their investigation would not given to McVeigh's layers. The United States Attorney General says he will fight any further delays in the execution. One hundred and sixty people were killed in the attack in 1995. McVeigh is to be put to death June 11.

Oil Dispute

　Iraq says it will not restart oil export under a United Nations' program that permitted to sale oil for food.

　Iraq wants the Security Council to replace the one-month extention of the program with the normal six-month period. The council approved the one-month extention on Friday at the request of the United States and Britain. Iraq says it will stop the flow of more than two million containers of oil starting Monday. Saudi Arabia says it can provide oil to cover an Iraqi shortage.

　 伊拉克希望安理会能将一个月的计划换成正常的六个月。在美国和英国的要求下，安理会于星期五同意延长一个月。伊拉克称将停止星期一开始输送的两百万桶石油。沙特阿拉伯则称能提供石油以弥补伊拉克所造成的短缺。
